Privacy Policy
Salah Heart is an app for prayer times, qibla, remembrances and the Quran. It needs no account, shows no ads, and sells no data.
Location
The app uses your location to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction. The calculation happens on your device, and your coordinates are not sent to any server of ours. To show the name of your city, the app uses the map service built into your phone's operating system (Apple or Google). You can instead pick your city by hand without granting location permission.
Settings
Your settings — calculation method, language, reminders, tasbih count — are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.
Notifications
Prayer and remembrance reminders are scheduled on your device. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send general announcements to all users, which requires a technical device token that is not linked to your identity.
Usage statistics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to learn which parts of the app are used, such as opening a remembrance page or changing the language. This includes an anonymous app identifier and general device and country information, but not your name, email, or precise location. It is processed under Google's privacy policy.
Content
Remembrance texts are downloaded from a storage server (Amazon S3). As with any internet request, the server may log the requesting IP address.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
